Elemental Ki

While primarily used for it's sheer power, the Akero Family Sword itself serves as an extra amplifier for the wielder's innate element. Granting it's user various flame imbued skill sets; the wielder is not only also capable of raising massive flame torrents to and from his body, but capable of wielding his element to such the extreme extent of severing portions of the surrounding atmosphere for a time.

Some techniques are derived from the combination of two existing techniques, which can be both physical or magical in nature. The techniques are fused together to form a new technique, using the components of the two bases to create a single combined attack. The technique names usually reflect this fusion by referencing the original bases. These techniques usually require both bases to be mastered before the combined variant can be learned.

Back To Basics

Bakūenken
Alternate Names: Blast Flame Sword, Hell Sword
Effect: When used, the user charges fire into his sword for a short period before slamming it onto the ground, creating a small blast of fire upon contact with the ground. The attack is known to be extremely spammable when used repeatedly, making it one of the best attacks available early in the games in which it appears.

Bandit Bringer
Effect: Walker crouches to the floor, jumps up and leaps forward into the air with an overhead downward punch, a javelin-like flame extends from his fist that causes the enemy to bounce on the floor. Causes enemy to slide on the floor. Not very useful unless performed at full range and in the corner.

Bandit Revolver
Effect: Walker leaps forward and delivers a swift jumping knee followed by an overhead downward aerial roundhouse axe kick. An aerial bandit revolver does five hits , and does more damage than a ground bandit revolver. Air bandit Revolver recovers fast enought to allow followup combos. The second hit of the ground version knocks down, a staple combo ender, and the axe kick can deal several hits instead of just one.
Special: In Dragon Install mode ground Bandit Revolver does multiple hits (like air Bandit Revolver) and can loop in the corner.

Fafnir
Effect: Walker steps and leans forwards and delivers a flaming punch with his arm fully extended with large knockback. Has wall bounce property. Fafnir is like a ground sidewinder in a sense.

Gōma Kaijinken
Alternate Names: Professional Demon Ember Sword
Required Powers: Tōryūsen, Neppa Senpūjin, Maō Engekiha, Shikō Bakūenjin
Effect: Upon activating this technique, Walker points his sword into the air to charge it with fire. He then performs a horizontal spin followed by a vertical slash to force the enemy into the air. As he falls back to the ground, he surrounds himself with a spiral of flames as he thrusts his sword into the ground. Afterwards, he charges through the enemy, then he turns around to send a wave of flames through the enemy as he dashes back. Finally, he somersaults into the air and slams back into the ground, creating a massive eruption of flames that destroys everything in front of him. Similar to Satsugeki Bukouken, this attack is a combination of some of Walker's techniques, specifically his most powerful elemental melee attacks, in contrast to the mostly non-elemental attacks used within Satsugeki Bukouken itself. Gouma Kaijinken is essentially a chain of Toryuusen, Neppa Senpuujin, Maou Engekiha, and the final part of Shikou Bakuenjin. With the exception of Toryuusen, all of these attacks are "sacred skills" that Walker learns by combining his existing techniques with the spells granted by his sword, the Akero Family Sword.

Gōshōrai
Alternate Names: Dragon Install, Sturdy Invitation, Coil
Effect: Walker rears back and his body begins to flash repeatedly. This technique is usually attributed with the Fire element, and works by raising the user's attack powers for a short time. As a Demon, Walker is granted a limited time release of his innate potential; severely heightened when amplified along with the Akero Family Sword. For a span of six seconds approximate, his body will take on a red type of glow, while setting all of his base limitations to the maximum. Walker powers up and goes super, increasing his strength and speed temporarily and attack power, some special moves change, but defense decreases. Every sense is released, resulting in incredible speeds, reaction times, and even the transformations of previous skills (i.e the Gunflame becomes a geyser, Volcanic Viper becomes a ripple like uplifting torrent, and the Tyrant Flame does a considerable more amount of damage.) resulting in seemingly unsurpassed skills of display. After the duration of the release goes beyond it's limit, however; the user falls into a temporary state of fatigue; resulting in immediate opening. While in Dragon Install state, Walker gains a substantial speed increase, Bandit Revolver and Volcanic Viper change drastically, and Bandit Bringer can no longer be performed. Walker gains tension very quickly, but loses it all once it ends. Can end prematurely by being knocked down. Awful move.

Grand Viper
Required Powers:
Volcanic Viper
Effect: Walker rushes forward and performs a big Volcanic Viper. Viewed as a secondary form of the Volcanic Viper, the Grand Viper is actually a more common choice, being it can be executed from both close or long range, however being wholly useful when committed from a distance; able to both stop and capture an opponent during the turning tides of battle. Delivering a quick chain of constant blows in the form of a flame trail, the Grand Viper is both well balanced and used as a quick counter method; able to catch any who may be off guard. Being that the attack itself can be freely linked to the latter (Volcanic Viper); the user has a choice of either containing oneself to launch the opponent heavenward; for an aerial assault, or in the end, to link it. Crouching ground slide that goes into a knee and finishes with Volcanic Viper. Walker darts across the ground, leaving a trail of fire as he goes. He finishes by leaning into a heavy blow. A long-range low that goes under a lot of high moves.

Gun Flame
Effect: Due to his extensive increase in wielding his element (granted he is armed and fully dangerous with the Akero Family Sword) Walker is able to exert a wide array of elementally imbued attacks within his arsenal; one of the basic being the Gunflame. Balancing the weapon's blade against the ground within a vertical, angled position, he is able to rouse a quickly formed wall of dancing flames; which are capable of rippling towards the opponent at increased speeds. Walker rears back and fires a flame from his Akero Family Sword that slowly travels across the ground. Doesn't travel very fast or very far, but is excellent for maintaining rushdown.

Gūrenken
Alternate Names: Throw Sword, Hell Pyre, Crimson Lotus Sword/Dog
Effect: When Hell Pyre is executed, the character slashes upwards at the enemy while jumping high into the air, following through by tossing a flaming projectile sword or fireball down to the enemy while airborne. The use of this technique will cause the Akero Family Sword to be thrown at the enemy, and all attacks after this are considered to be unarmed until the Akero Family Sword is picked up from the ground where he was thrown. Training with the power changed the effect of this technique to prevent the Akero Family Sword from being thrown, instead creating a massive disc of flame to drop onto the enemies below.

Hiō Zetsūenshō
Required Powers: Rising Phoenix
Alternate Names: Scarlet Phoenix Sever Blaze Rush, Burning Phoenix
Effect: Burning Phoenix involves the character shrouding himself in flames, divebombing into the ground from the air, followed by a rapid dash along the ground in the opposite direction, dealing several hits and inflicting fire element damage. The first part mirrors Rising Phoenix, of which it was originally extended from.

Hōōtenkū
Alternate Names: Spin Flare, Phoenix Heaven Drive, Rising Phoenix
Required Powers: Fireball, Spin Slash
Effect: The character jumps into the air and then thrusts down with a fiery, blazing wave. The technique usually has appeared for sword type user characters such as Rahan Akero and Walker Akero.

Kōō Tenshōyōkū
Alternate Names: Phoenix, Emperor King Heaven Soar Wing
Required Powers: Earthquake, Spin Flare
Effect: When the technique is used, Walker engulfs the field in a massive burst of fire that shakes the whole field, before spining around to slash all nearby enemies. Then he takes flight across the battle field, leaving behind a streak of flame that resembles the wings of a phoenix behind him. Different iterations of this technique have provided alternative flight patterns, sometimes moving at an upward or downward angle, or even horizontally across the screen.

Kūga Shōryūkyakū
Alternate Names: Dragon Toss, Sky Fang Rising Dragon Kick
Required Powers: Fire Storm, Kick Attack
Effect: Similar to Swallow Dance and other techniques in the same family, Walker spins high into the air with several rising kicks while wreathed in flames, finishing with a final upward slash. The final slash can be cancelled into any aerial-enabled technique.

Maō Engekiha
Alternate Names: Devil Blaze Attack Wave, Infernal Torrent, Fiery Wave
Required Powers: Fire Wall, Missile Sword
Effect: When this technique is used, the character slashes at the enemy while the weapon is engulfed in flames, creating a large wave of fire. This attack commonly reaches far distances and deals multiple hits quickly, affecting a large arc in front of the character. As a Sacred Skill that combines the technique Missile Sword and the spell Fire Wall, this attack is later reprised, and Walker Akero has the ability to use this attack both on the ground and within the air; while airborne, the attack animation is changed to become two angled slashes with his flaming sword.

Napalm Death
Effect:
Within the Grendel Demon's entire display granted within use of the Akero Family Sword, the notorious Napalm Death can be commonly considered as a much 'smaller' form of, perhaps, a widespread explosion. Given that the attack is released in a limit; the full extent, range, or even potential of the carnage it could possibly cause remains questionable.

Neppa Senpūjin
Alternate Names: Searing Gale, Flame vortex, Sudden Tear Whirlwind Flash
Required Powers: Explode, Vortex
Effect: When the technique is used, the user jumps while spinning, making flames follow him. After that, he raises his sword before slamming it at the ground. At the contact, fire sprouts out from the area affected by the sword's touch.

Riot Stamp
Effect: Walker jumps back and flies backwards to the wall, then launches himself off the wall and flies off with foot outstretched and deals a flying kick to the opponent.

Satsūgeki Būkōken
Alternate Names: Final Fury, Kill Drama Dance Wild Sword/Fist, Assassin, Fatal Fury
Required Powers: Dragon Blade, Fiery Wave
Effect: Walker kicks and slashes the enemies with his sword a dozen times or so, then he kicks them down to the ground, ending with a spin and smash kick.

Shakunetsu Hadōken
Alternate Names: Red Hadoken, Scorching Surge Fist
Required Powers: Hadoken
Effect: One of the original Goutetsu techniques—this life-threatening Hadouken requires even more concentration onto the palms to produce a life-threatening surge wave with enough force to burn cloth or flesh. A Hadoken which is imbued with the power of fire, can launch from one to three, anyone touching this Hadoken risks immolation and will be knocked down. Also known as the Red Hadoken.

Shikō Bakūenjin
Alternate Names: Fiery Beast, Hellfire, Lion Roar Explode Flame Formation
Required Powers: Flare Tornado, Force
Effect: When either technique is used, the character slams the target, as if initiating a Beast attack. Then the character follows up with a large and explosive blast of fire or lightning, knocking down all enemies within the affected area.

Shōōrekka
Alternate Names: Phoenix Blast, Soaring Phoenix Intense Fire
Effect: Harness the power of fire and release it in a devastating blast.

Sidewinder
Effect: Air fire punch that slams enemy into the wall.

Super Dragon Install
Required Powers: Dragon Install
Effect: The ground shakes violently before Walker performs a powered up Dragon Install. Dragon install, but lasts the entire match, longer startup, and drains health at a fast rate. A near useless technique.

Tatakiōtōshi
Alternate Names: Knockdown
Effect: Walker follows up the Volcanic Viper by flipping and delivering a swift downwards heel. Walker swipes his foot out, knocking the opponent out of the air.

Tōyūsen
Alternate Names: Dragon Slayer, Slaying Dragon Flash
Effect: When used, the swordsman raises the sword, summoning a large spike of flame that bursts from the ground. this technique is granted aerial capabilities, in which the character spins higher into the air and summons a vertical blast of flame.

Tyrant Wave
Effect:
Walker brings up his blade, raising the Akero Family Sword above his head as a large fireball appears in front of him, purging a massive burst of energy from it. One of the most notorious within his entire display; if not simply outright the most deadly. The Tyrant flame is but a mere 'example' of one's true potential, given it proceeds to rift a good portion of the standing atmosphere; allowing Walker to instantly produce an uplift of flame; within the form of a severe, torrential spiraling wall. The temperature of such an attack alone will be a danger enough, should one be lucky enough to avoid the main assault. Though, commonly, it should not come as a surprise that it is able to severely burn, or even melt the flesh from a given target. Lastly, the consistent title in one's arsenal has appeared to take slight evolution through time, being it's name changes every so often (i.e Tyrant Rave ver. "Alpha", Tyrant Rave ver. "Beta").

Tyrant Rave ver.Beta
Required Powers:
Tyrant Rave
Effect: Walker punches A swift gut punch followed by a huge punch with his other fist, creating a massive burst of flame. Walker punches and creates a fireball above his fist, then performs an immensely flaming punch with his other arm. (second hit has immense knockback, near corner: wall bounces).

Volcanic Viper
Effect: Commonly viewed as a savage uppercut, delivered directly by the edge of Fuuenken; paired with an outburst of flame. The Volcanic Viper is typically viewed as a close range, melee type, being it has severely limited range. It does, however, serve as the finishing 'touch' of the more long range counterpart, Grand Viper; being that it can be linked directly after the Grand Viper itself; resulting in a devastating finish.

Zankū Tenshōken
Alternate Names: Slash Sky Heaven Soar Sword
Required Powers: Shinku Rensatsuken
Effect: Originally an extension to Shikkuu Rensatsuken, Walker charges his sword before performing a downward slash, upward slash, upper thrust, another upward slash, then a final soaring slash in the air which deals multiple hits.
