OOC

I hate that rules exist. I'd much rather have guidelines, and that's what I'd like to think these are... Guidelines. After all, exceptions are always out there. But people insist that I should have a ruleset on my web site, because not having one evidently means I can't have any personal rules to some people. Do I agree? Naw, but I like to point at shit when people run their mouths anyway and go, "Actually... " That being said, below are a list of rules that I generally expect to have followed when you play with me. They're very common-sense, but you'd be surprised.

Back To Basics

~Out Of Character~

Basic Stuff. Standards of professional roleplaying.

  • Roleplaying is a game. Be fair, but have fun.
  • No consent BS needed. Just these above, not-written-in-stone rules need yours ears pinned back for listening to.
  • If you dislike Anime Characters, don't bother me about it. In fact, if you dislike any genre being represented in any of the rooms I'm in--with my character or otherwise--shut your mouth and just bounce.
  • I do most certainly not RP with immature whining bitches. You know who you are, and if you don't you will by the end of the night when you face me.
  • Age is a mental state. Mature 10 year olds and immature 50 year olds both exist. Don't judge my RPing skill based on it.
  • For you punk-asses that use the Room Owner thing to silence people you don't like for whatever bullshit reason, fuck you. S'what the Ignore button was for. You wanna run your own lil' private RP? S'what Private Rooms are for, you idgit.
  • IM RP or Chat Room RP are both accepted. A story's a story, and where it takes place matters not. IMS are usually OOC, unless stated otherwise or if someone in play is doing a mind link sort of deal, cell phone call, text. Things like that.

~In Character~

  • Don't assume shit about my character, and don't assume that just because I didn't explain to you every single piece of information about him before they fight or interact that I'm cheating. Some shit you just gotta find out through interaction, and believe me this page is a Hell of a lot nicer than people make for their characters these days!
  • Although Walker Akero is modern fantasy, he can be played in any time frame mostly because Rhy'Din is a nexus--a cosmic interstate of pathways connecting the various timelines and parallel universes of the Multiverse, in which it's at the center.
  • Walker is not a serious guy 24/7. In fact, he's one of the UGoI, he lacks it greatly at times. If you see something absurdly wacky (like Walker arguing with his mun--me!), don't get bent out of shape over it. It's just a joke.
  • Walker cusses. A lot. I cuss a lot. I usually respect you if you ask me to stop, but TOSin' is for whiney-assed jerks whom need to grow up.
  • Cannon characters--that is, characters that aren't your character but you're stealin' 'em anyhow--are fine, but don't be upset is my character comments about having seen his seventeenth Goku this week.
  • And don't play goofy shit like dieties or things like it--such as Cain, 3rd Gen Vampires, Earthbound--as characters. Again, moder comes from God Mode in the Doom computer game for a damn reason. It's a cheat!
  • Walker has a limiter installed into him by the powerful psion Renki' Sar Kane and reinforced by Donavon de la Cruz, which limits his Demonic power from being used. But it also acts as a Psionic Barrier in this respect, so mind reading is not possible, nor is mind-control... This includes Forced Collaring with that mind control in mind, especially with that 1d20 crap.

~Combat~

Basic Stuff. Standards of professional roleplaying.

  • No 1d20 or the like BS. It just annoys me.
  • Forced Hits are not usually taken, so try to strike with attempts and the like.
  • Audits for the dice..I have them. No, I do not have every single log I used my dice in, nor do I have any other list nor particular written proof that I have ever gotten up that high. You see, since beginning roleplaying I have been through four computers, and who knows how many formats. I keep what I can, but sometimes shit gets lost. I do have, however, plenty upon plenty of people whom can vouch for my legitness.
  • Conerning AAs..You can AA even from out of forum. It's cheap to have a barrier like that..If I'm in the Crypts and the Bloods roll on in with their machine guns and mow my ass down, I can't say "you can't hurt me 'cuz you're in a different gang", now can I? Right.
  • You can kill him. I mean..There are people out there whom in their own little OOC world say "No killing my charrie!" and shit..Listen, a character that's indestructable--for ANY reason-is being a moder, it's what the word was invented for, and having an OOC reason for the unkillable is even worse (cross-roleplaying). We can't have that. If my character ends up in a confrontation with yours and a fight happens then expect your character to be able to die just like mine can.
  • Don't do an action of escape and suddenly as soon as the character is gone, exit the room OOCly (NATY!!). Find out if your action was stopped somehow first. And believe me, it can.

~Quotes~

Basic Stuff. Standards of professional roleplaying.

  • "I have heard people whine about Dragon Ball Z long enough. Stop complaining, it just proves how childish you are. When I enter the room, ignore me, don't waste my time. Don't whine or be an annoyance because I roleplay a Dragon Ball character, spare me the energy and block me. Don't even notify me you have. Like I said don't waste my time." - Justin (Piccolloj)
  • "Well, in an anal world were we have to carry slips to prove our dice and have characters walk around with paper like a driver's license and forget what the fuck role playing means, where I get to listen to people say it's b.s. after ya kill em in DMs cause they put too much of themselves in their characters and don't want to die, because without aol..they have nothing.." - Tommy (Renki Sar Kane)
  • "If you don't accept Anime-styled attacks, I can therefore not accept any physical or magical attacks you can pull, correct? Because they're all based off of something." - Peter (RahanAkero)
  • "I'M UP TO MY NECK about dealing with people who do not acknowledge the faiths of others. I feel its incredibly egocentric, and therefore a SIN. The SIN of pride. Tell me how its not. I challenge you to that. Therefore, unless you're willing to respect me, and the fact that I have not chosen to have a faith, and furthermore NEVER disrespect the faiths of others around me within my sight...Please do not speak out of character to me. If you want to debate religion, by all means, do so. But you'd better darn well be respectful to others and try to hold an open heart and mind for the people around you, or I WILL LEAVE THE CHAT AND NOT COME BACK. That is, if you're a friend of mine. Because I respect you too much to blow my gasket in your face and scream at you to shut the fuck up. If someone who's not my friend tries that crap in my presence, I'll do whatever I have to to either get you to shut up, or just plain click you. I do not tolerate this kind of bs in my life any longer. Thank you. Oh, one last thing - Religion is about respect. For the supernatural, for the "divine," for others.. Take your pick. Its about respect. If you can't respect others, then that shows you have no respect for yourself. If you cannot respect yourself.. How can you respect your deity, creed, or philosophy?" - Scott (EdgarBellmont)
